Padres Play at the Diamond
6:30 p.m.
On April 2, 2010 the Lake Elsinore Storm are scheduled to take on their Major League parent club, the San Diego Padres. The exhibition game, which is to be held at The Diamond in Lake Elsinore, will be the fourth pre-season meeting between the two clubs.

Individual tickets, set to go on sale at a later date, will be $25. However, the Storm put together a ticket package for the event. The package will be sold for $40 which includes a seat in the first five rows of the seating bowl and three undated vouchers to a future 2010 Storm home game (excluding all Tuesdays and the Fourth of July). Children's Fair & Egg Hunt

Sponsored by the City of Lake Elsinore Parks & Recreation Department, the Children's Fair and Egg Hunt will offer an afternoon of free kids activities including:

Storm Baseball Season Opener
7:05 p.m.
The Lake Elsinore Storm are slated to begin the regular season on Thursday, April 8, 2010 when the defending Southern Division Champions, the High Desert Mavericks, come to town. It is also Thirsty Thursday, with $1 beers and sodas through the fifth inning or until 9:00 p.m.

Santa Fe Train Station Dedication
10:30 a.m.
The Daughters of the American Revolution Luiseno Chapter will present two plaques to commemorate the historical significance of the Santa Fe Train Station built in April 1896!
The second dedication will be to unveil the second mural commissioned by Golden Murals.

2010 Boating Season -Free Lake Use Day
The City kicks-off the 2010 boating season for beautiful Lake Elsinore on Saturday, April 10, 2010. The City will Sponsor "FREE" Lake use (a $10 value) on this day. all other fees apply, including parking & launch fees. This is a good opportunity to prepare your boat for the season!

Unity in the Community 5k

In our ninth annual race for charity, the Elsinore community will enjoy a beautiful sand & gravel course on the shores of Lake Elsinore. Both runners and walkers will enjoy pre-race refreshments, event T-shirts and goodie bags filled with coupons and surprises. Raffle prizes include gift baskets and donated goods or services. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each race (5K & 10K), age level and divisions (men & women's).
